San Francisco's major hunger charities will come together for their first-ever joint disaster planning event, simulating the aftermath of a 7.8 earthquake that has devastated the Bay Area. The event is an opportunity for the organizations to practice providing meals together for the area's most vulnerable populations in the aftermath of a disaster.
Here at The Salvation Army, this week is an opportunity to celebrate you for your dedication to helping others. The support and compassion of friends like you forms the foundation of everything we do. You make possible a full range of programs and services that address human needs throughout the community. For opening your heart and giving of yourself, we thank you sincerely.
